A Slough GP, located on Albert Street, has been named the best medical practice in the Slough area by patients.
Chapel Medical Centre rated best for ‘overall experience’ of patients in the 2024 NHS patient survey.
The survey asked residents for their views on their doctors' surgeries across a range of different areas.
The number of surveys completed varies from surgery to surgery, and does not represent every patient who is reigstered at any one centre.
Of the patients who responded, 75.4 percent said their overall experience was good.
A variety of other areas are also measured including the ease of making an appointment, access to online services and waiting times.
Over the last few years, the local and national averages have dropped significantly as services are evaluated.
In second place is the Herschel Medical Centre, located on Osbourne Street, which scored a satisfaction rating of 74.5 percent. 11.7 percent of patients rated having a negative experience.
The Village Medical Centre in Cippenham was rated the third best GP in the Slough area, with an overall positive percentage of 69.5 percent.
What about the worst?
At the other end of the scale, Manor Park Medical Centre finished bottom of the barrel with 48.8 percent of patients reporting a positive experience.
Hovering just above Manor Park is Datchet Health centre, located on Green Lane in Darchet. 51.9 percent of patients reported a positive experience and 27 percent of patients reported a negetive experience.
Below is the list of all the Slough GPs and how they scored.
