An exciting sporting event recently took place in the town which showcased plenty of talented local athletes.
Organised by The Slough Hub and Slough Town Football Club, the Slough Olympica was an event to Celebrate Sports in Slough with loads people coming forward to participate.
The event took place on Sunday July 28 at Arbour Park Stadium on Stoke Road.
It brought all sports enthusiasts under one roof to inspire and engage residents to take up sports and build a healthier and happier community. It is so important to be active in this day and age.
A spokesperson for The Slough Hub sent out the following statement after the event had finished:
"A huge thank you to everyone involved in making the Slough Olympica event such a success today.
"It was fantastic to see so many people from our local community joining in with the activities."
