The following cases were heard at Reading or Slough Magistrates’ Courts.

ALFRED KOMIVES, 52, of Meadow Way, Newbury, convicted of drink-driving in Oxford Road, Newbury, on May 24, 2024. Found to have 48mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath, the legal limit being 35mcg. Fined £200 and ordered to pay £85 court costs and £80 victim surcharge. Disqualified from driving for 12 months.

SHANE HARPER, 33, of no fixed abode, convicted of assault by beating in Old Windsor on June 9, 2024. Also convicted of criminal damage to property, namely a door, in the same location on the same date. Sentenced to four week sin prison due to severity of the offences and previous convictions of the use of a fire extinguisher. Must pay £154 victim surcharge.

INDERDEEP DEV, 43, of Kensal Green Drive, convicted of persistently making use of public communications network to cause annoyance or anxiety in Maidenhead between December 2, 2022, and December 4, 2022. Also convicted of sending ‘grossly offensive’ communications of an indecent or menacing character on or about December 2, 2022. Handed a community order to comply with rehabilitation activity

STEPHEN BROOKER, 27, of New acres, Wokingham, convicted of breaching a non-molestation order by sending a ‘friend request’ in Berkshire on December 18, 2022. Fined £461. Also ordered to pay £85 court costs.

PAUL SMITH, 29, of no fixed abode, convicted of stealing laundry detergent worth £12 from Iceland in Slough High Street on May 27, 2024. Also convicted of stealing clothing worth £73 from Primark in Slough on June 10, 2024. Fined £100.

JAMES SCHWEISZER, 37, of Kidwells close, Maidenhead, convicted of drug-driving in Ipswich Road, Slough, on December 13, 2023. Found to have cocaine in their system. Fined £900 and ordered to pay £85 court costs and £360 victims surcharge. Disqualified from driving for 16 months.

HENRY WOLEK, 48, of Howard Street, Reading, convicted of criminal damage to a front window or a property and a vehicle window, and plant pot in Oxford worth £536 in total, on January 16, 2023. Also convicted of assault by beating on the same date and location. Fined £553. Also ordered to pay £636 compensation and £300 court costs plus £292 victim surcharge.

BRADLEY LANGFORD, 18, of Staverton Road, Reading, convicted of driving a vehicle without due care and attention in Broad Street, Reading, on March 17, 2024. fined 380 and ordered to pay 385 court costs. Five points added to driving licence.

BOBBY ALEXANDER, 33, of Wrenswood Close, Reading convicted of being a driver and failing to stop at the scene of a road incident in Reading on December 3, 2023. Fined £230. Also ordered to pay £85 court costs and £92 victim surcharge. Five points added to driving licence.

ENDRI CIBAKU, 27, of Oakey Drive, Wokingham, convicted of two counts of drug-driving on the A4 London Road, Reading, on December 31, 2023. Found to have cocaine in their system. Fined £120. Also ordered to pay £85 court costs and £48 victim surcharge. Disqualified from driving for 16 months.
