A man has been convicted for stealing thousands of pounds worth of items in Windsor.
Terry Loveridge, aged 40, of no fixed abode, pleaded guilty to eight counts of fraud by false misrepresentation, five counts of theft from a motor vehicle and one count of criminal damage at Reading Magistrates’ Court yesterday July 18.
Between June and July this year, Loveridge stole multiple items up to the value of around £3,120 in Windsor.
He also used other people’s bank cards intending to make gains up to the value of around £429.54, for goods and services, in Slough and Windsor.
On June 18, Loveridge damaged an Audi S3 by throwing a brick through its window in Windsor.
Loveridge was arrested on Tuesday July 16 and charged on the same day.
Investigating officer PC Armand Dyrma said: “This result is the culmination of an investigation by Maidenhead’s Priority Crime Team into a series of theft offences committed in Windsor.
“Loveridge also committed fraud by false representation, in both Slough and Windsor, on multiple occasions, with the intention of gaining goods and phone credit for himself.
“I would like to thank the Windsor community, and particularly the victims of crime, for their diligence in supporting this investigation, which has allowed us to quickly arrest and charge a prolific offender with multiple offences.”
Loveridge was remanded in prison and is due to be sentenced at a court to be confirmed.
