Thames Valley Police have launched an urgent appeal for witnesses after a teenager was reportedly abducted in Slough yesterday afternoon (18/7) in a chilling attack.

Around 4.30pm on Thursday, July 18, patrols were called to Britwell estate where it was reported that a boy cyclist was followed, captured and driven away by three or four assailants riding a red moped and a red bicycle.

The assailants were said to have followed the cyclist on the Cinder Track, just south of the bike fences near Farnham Court Cottages, before forcefully pulling him off his bike.

The group threatened him with what appeared to be a knife, positioned him on the moped and sped away from the crime scene.

Descriptions of the assailants have been provided to aid their identification.

The moped rider reportedly wore all black clothing, including a jacket with the hood up, bearing white writing on the side of the left leg, just above the knee.

His passenger also wore all black attire, characterised by a slim white stripe down the shoulder of their coat and broader stripes down the sides of their legs.

The culprits on the bicycle were said to include a white male dressed in a grey tracksuit and white trainers.

The passenger was a young black male wearing a green jacket, black trousers with a thin stripe down the lower leg, and red trainers.

The boy victim, described as around 16 years old, wore a grey top and dark bottoms.

Speaking on the incident, Investigating officer Detective Inspector Ryan Powell, based at Slough police station, said: "I understand this incident may cause some concern but we believe it was a targeted incident with no threat to the wider public.

"There is an increased police presence in the area with extra patrols so please speak to a uniformed officer if you have any worries."

Detective Inspector Powell emphasised the importance of locating the victim, stating: "We urgently want to hear from the victim to ensure their safety and that they are not injured.

"It is possible the victim has returned as we currently have no reported missing boys who match his description, but we are keeping an open mind."

He asked any witnesses to this crime or those who might have relevant CCTV or dashcam footage to get in touch by calling 101, filing a report on the Thames Valley Police website, and quoting reference number 43240341832.

He also provided the option to provide information anonymously to independent charity Crimestoppers.
