Motorists are reminded to stay vigilant as a number of roadworks affecting a major commuting highway will once again be ongoing over the course of this weekend.
From Friday July 19 to Sunday 21 a series of night closures will take place, causing potentially severe delays for drivers wishing to utilise the road.
If you are planning on travelling during any of these closures you may wish to allow extra time for your journey and avoid the area altogether.
The full list of the planned closures over this weekend are as follows:
Friday July 19
M4-Eastbound
M4 Eastbound Jct 4 Exit Slip Road Closure from 11 pm to 6 am.
M4 Westbound Jct 5 exit slip road closure from 11 pm to 5.30 am.
Saturday July 20
M4-Westbound
M4 Westbound Jct 5 exit slip road closure from 10 pm to 5.30 am.
M4 westbound Jct 21 to 23 Prince of Wales Bridge closed from 10.45 pm to 6 am.
M4-Eastbound
M4 eastbound Jct 23 to 22 Prince of Wales Bridge closed between exit and entry slip road from 10 pm to 6 am.
Sunday July 21
M4-Eastbound
M4 Eastbound Jct 4B to M25 Clockwise and Anticlockwise Jct 15 link road closures from 10.30 pm to 5.30 am.
