A missing man has been identified as the victim of an unexplained death after disappearing in 2021.
On Sunday, July 7 at around 1:04pm, officers were called to Herschel Park when a member of the public found the remains of a person along the trail.
Following investigations and forensic work, it has now been ascertained that the remains belong to Karandeep Singh.
Karandeep went missing from Slough on December 13, 2021.
Detective Inspector Nick Hind said: “First and foremost, our thoughts remain with the family and friends of Karandeep Singh, who are being supported by specially trained officers at this extremely difficult time.
“This incident continues to be investigated as an unexplained death and we are continuing to investigate the full circumstances.
The force has issued an appeal for anyone who may have further information about the incident to come forward.
Detective Inspector Hind added: “You can do so by calling 101 or by making a report on our website, quoting reference number 43240321393.

Karandeep’s family have asked for their privacy to be respected at this time.
