Thames Valley Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman was sexually assaulted by a cyclist in Slough.

The incident occurred at a pedestrian crossing on Wexham Road near the Diamond Road junction, around 8.15pm on July 9.

The man rode towards her and inappropriately touched a lady in her 20s walking on the road, before cycling away.

The assaulter is described as an Asian man in his mid-20s, with a short beard.

He was wearing a cap with a chevron and a brown jacket.

Investigating Officer Detective Constable Georgia Hall pleaded for help stating: "No woman should be made to feel unsafe or threatened while walking home and I want to hear from anyone who may have witnessed this incident, or who could have seen this man on his bike in the Wexham Road area around 8.15pm.

"In particular, the lady has told us a car passed by at the moment she was inappropriately touched and the driver beeped their horn.

"If that was you, please can I ask you get in touch with us as soon as possible.

"Anyone with information should call 101 or you can submit information on our website, quoting the reference 43240329019.

"If you have any dash-cam footage or CCTV which may assist us, you can also submit this by going to our dedicated online portal for this investigation."

The lady suffered scratches on her neck during the assault
