A MAN has been charged after an elderly woman had her handbag containing 'a large amount of cash' snatched.
Thames Valley Police said a woman in her seventies had her handbag stolen, which contained a large amount of cash, in Merton Road shortly before midday on June 11.
The force has since charged a man in connection with the robbery in Slough.
Carloz Salazar, aged 36, of no fixed abode, was charged with one count of robbery on Wednesday, June 19.
Salazar has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Croydon Crown Court on July 10.
