General election candidates will be grilled by Slough residents at a hustings this month organised by Asian Star Radio.
The hustings – where candidates debate and answer questions from the public – will take place in Elliman Square in the Queensmere shopping centre on June 18.
Asian Star Radio said it has invited all the candidates standing in Slough to take part on Tuesday, June 4.
It said: “There will be a studio audience opportunity for up to around 40 people who will be able to get a free ticket online on a first come first serve basis.”
Representatives of each party will have until Wednesday, June 12, to confirm if they’re attending. A link to book tickets can be found on Asian Star Radio’s Facebook and X pages.
Candidates to have announced they are standing in Slough so far are listed in alphabetical order below:
- Azhar Chohan – independent
- Moni Nanda – Conservative
- Tan Dhesi – Labour
- Julian Edmonds – Green Party
- Robin Jackson – Reform UK
- Adnan Shabbir – Workers Party of Britain
- Chelsea Whyte – Liberal Democrats
