Chosen through a public vote, Thames Hospice came out on top as the charity to be supported by Queensmere Shopping Centre throughout the calendar year.
Proudly serving the community of Slough for over 37 years, Thames Hospice provides complex, specialist palliative and end-of-life care services to people aged sixteen-and-over in their own homes and at the Hospice located by Bray Lake, near in Maidenhead.
Thames Hospice’s modern facilities include a 28-bed Inpatient Unit, a Wellbeing Centre offering Outpatient Services including physiotherapy, complementary therapy, lymphoedema services, counselling and bereavement support.
The charity also provides clinical, emotional and practical supports patients in the comfort of their own homes.
The Hospice’s Multi-Disciplinary Clinical Teams provide the highest quality, compassionate care and to all those facing an advanced or terminal illness in Slough.
Shoppers will be able to donate to Thames Hospice by dropping off many physical items such as clothing, shoes, accessories, and books.
