Berkshire's best and worst train station for train delays have been revealed - according to fresh figures.

On Time Trains has compared train station wait times across the country in a way to see a national picture of what stations experience the most issues and which stations are the busiest.

In Berkshire, there are 37 train stations, many of which fall on the new Elizabeth Line or as part of railway offshoots to smaller towns or villages.

Of Berkshire's stations Sunningdale ranks as the county’s ‘lowest performing station’ - with just three in 10 trains arriving 'on time'.

Thatcham was also found to be a poorly performing station, with just 32 per cent of trains arriving on time at the station. 

Meanwhile on the other end of the spectrum, Windsor and Eton Centrals run to timetable 97 per cent of the time. The station serves just one route running between Slough and Windsor.

The second best station was found to be Wargrave, where 85 per cent of trains operate on time.

Meanwhile bigger stations like Reading see 61 per cent of trains 'on time', Slough 63 per cent of the time and Bracknell 54 per cent of the time.
