A hotel, which looks out onto Windsor Castle, has been sold to a new owner after being empty since 2020.
The Harte and Garter shut its doors in June 2020, and the tenants handed the keys back to the landlords at the Crown Estate.
Since then, the 79-bedroom hotel on the High Street has stood empty, with just the ground-floor restaurants in use - The Ivy and Wagamamas.
Now, the hotel has been taken off the market, with the Crown Estate confirming its sale.
A spokesperson for The Crown Estate said: “We can confirm that we have sold The Harte and Garter Hotel & Spa.
"The Crown Estate remains committed to Windsor through a range of assets, including Windsor Great Park.”
The Harte and Garter carried a hefty price tag of £13.25million when it hit the market in July 2023.
The property was advertised as a "significant value-add hotel and restaurant investment opportunity in the heart of Windsor".
Sold with vacant possessions, furniture, fixtures and equipment - the hotel includes 79 ensuite bedrooms.
Other amenities include a bar, lounge, meeting rooms and ballroom.
An on-site spa consists of changing rooms, seven treatment rooms, a hydro pool, a sauna and a steam room.
Over 1.5 million people are estimated to visit Windsor Castle each year and the hotel being situated in the heart of the town means it is within walking distance to major attractions and Windsor Riverside train stations.
