A pub in the heart of Windsor has recently opened under new management much to the delight of the residents of the town.
Chris Collier recently posted on social media to alert the public that he is the newly appointed manager of the Vansittart Arms which is located on Vansittart Road.
New photographs of the inside of the pub have now also been released to show the work the new team has put into reopening the establishment, and we think it looks great!
The outside beer garden is looking particularly festive with brightly coloured bunting and fairy lights, perfect for a summer's evening pint.
There is also plenty of space outdoors for lots of customers to enjoy the sunshine.
the outdoor area also features a warm nook where people can sit comfortably under heaters just in case the weather is a little cooler.
The inside of the pub looks particularly cosy with wooden features and an authentic fire place. There's also plenty of space for larger groups and also smaller tables for couples to enjoy.
The bar looks completely decked out with lots of different alcoholic and soft beverages customers may wish to purchase, with premium beers on tap.
In a statement on Facebook, Mr Collier sent out the following message to all his new customers:
"Hi all! I just wanted to introduce myself as the new landlord of the Vansittart Arms and share a photo that I took. We are now open and serving food including Sunday roast."
Dozens flocked to the comment section of the post to wish Mr Collier good luck in his new venture.
One commenter wrote "Welcome! I own a Hoppy place and co own indie rabble brewery. If you need anything at all, let me know. Also, there's a WhatsApp group for all the landlords for pub watch, if you DM me your phone number I can add you! Good luck with the pub! A lot of potential."
Many chimed in to express their excitement for the new ownership after explaining how disappointed they were after visiting the pub previously.
A further person said "Hope the customer services is better than last time I was in. Good luck and we will defo give the pub another try."
In agreement with the previous comment, another person said "Welcome and I second the others, last time I was in food was poor and service was very poor."
