Slough saw a huge loss to its High Street earlier this month after WHSmith's and its resident Post Office closed.
The duo were shuttered after WHSmith declared its proposed lease renewal was "unsustainable".
WHSmith had a prime location in the town centre, which it closed on Saturday, May 11.
A WHSmith spokesperson previously said: "It is no longer sustainable to continue to trade from this location and the decision has been taken to close the store as a result of the forthcoming lease expiry.
"We are disappointed to be losing our presence in this location and we would like to thank all our customers for their support and for shopping with us."
A Post Office spokesperson added: “We know how important a Post Office is to a community and the vacancy is currently advertised on www.runapostoffice.co.uk and we would like to hear from retailers about this business opportunity.”
Following the closure, there are now eight Post Offices in Slough.
These are located at Stoke Poges Lane, Chalvey Road West, Mirador Crescent, Farnham Road, Manor Park, Buckingham Avenue, Wexham Road and Cippenham Lane.
