Heavy rain and thunderstorms are expected to hit the county, the Met Office has warned.
The Met Office issued a Yellow warning for thunderstorms in the south of England today, May 21 - with residents warned about potential travel disruption and some flooding.
Spells of heavy rain are expected from midday, lasting into the night.
Whilst some places may remain mostly dry, areas of slow-moving heavy rain and some thunderstorms are expected to move across the South of England - perhaps with hail and lightning.
The weather should gradually ease away later in the evening.
Across the warning area, 20 to 30mm of rain is possible in one hour, but this is more likely toward the south of London.
What to expect:
Spray and sudden flooding could lead to difficult driving conditions and some road closures
Where flooding or lightning strikes occur, there is a chance of delays and some cancellations of train and bus services
There is a slight chance that power cuts could occur and other services to some homes and businesses could be lost
There is a small chance that homes and businesses could be flooded quickly, with damage to some buildings from floodwater, lightning strikes, hail or strong winds
