Several pets in Sussex are looking for their forever homes, including at the Sussex North & Brighton branch of the RSPCA.
Whether you want to adopt a dog, cat, rabbit or guinea pig, there is plenty of choice.

Ayda
Gender - Female
Age - Three years old
Breed - Poodle (Standard) crossbreed
Colour - Apricot

Ayda is described as a "friendly" and "lively" dog who loves to run around and play.
She can be a little worried in new situations and has not been socialised with other dogs as she can be a bit wary of them.
Ayda has a lifelong condition called Addison's Disease which affects her ability to produce some hormones.
With treatment, she should live a normal, healthy life, and the RSPCA are happy to discuss that plan with potential adopters.
Daisy May
Gender - Female
Age - 10 years old
Breed - Boston Terrier crossbreed
Colour - Black

Daisy May came into the care of the RSPCA via an inspector as her previous owner could no longer give her the care she needed.
She is described as a friendly girl who enjoys fuss and attention and walks well on the lead.
The RSPCA adds: "Daisy May arrived with very sore ears that had not been treated for a long time. She may always need ear drops for them from our vets. Anyone wishing to adopt her will need to be prepared to continue this."
Midnight
Gender - Female
Age - One year old
Breed - Domestic Shorthair crossbreed
Colour - Black and White

Midnight came into the care of the RSPCA as her owner could no longer look after her.
The RSPCA adds: "She came from a multi-cat household and has proven to be a great mum in the past to a litter of kittens, who have now grown up and left home."
She will likely be a little shy at first, but will soon warm up to new people and can be very friendly.
Midnight will need a calm setting to move into as the only animal in the household and without any young children.
She also likes to spend time outside, so she would love a secure garden she can potter in and knows how to use a catflap.

Patch and Sparkles
Gender - Male and Female
Age - Nine years old
Breed - Domestic Shorthair crossbreed
Colour - White and Black

Patch and Sparkles came into the care of the RSPCA as their owner could no longer care for them.
The RSPCA adds: "It has taken a little time for the bonded male and female pair to settle and to get used to the cattery environment, which means they have been quite shy around us, so they usually spend most of the day safely curled up together."
Recently, they have been gaining a little more confidence and coming forward to ask for fuss and strokes.
It would be best for the pair to got to a quiet home, with no children or other animals and access to a garden.
