A primary school in Slough recently celebrated an important event in their annual events calendar much to the delight of all the pupils and staff who took part.
On Thursday May 2 Langley Hall Primary Academy celebrated 'Culture Day' which saw all the children and teachers come into school dressed in traditional clothes from each one of their different backgrounds.
Culture Day at Langley Primary Academy was a great way for all of the pupils to showcase their different cultures, and for everyone to celebrate the diversity of their school.
A spokesperson for Langley Primary Academy said the following statement:
"On Thursday May 2 2024 Langley Hall Primary Academy celebrated culture day.
"Culture Day is an extremely significant tradition because it promotes cultural appreciation, global awareness, inclusivity, heritage preservation, and provides a form of academic enrichment for the children.
"We saw so many children and teachers dressed in their traditional clothes."
