Shoppers have been complaining about the unpleasant odour inside a Maidenhead supermarket.
Waitrose customers have said the shop on Moorbridge Road "smells like poo", with reports of issues beginning on Wednesday, May 1.
On approaching the supermarket giant, a spokesperson apologised for the smell.
A Waitrose spokesperson said: "We're aware of an issue with our store's drains and are working with maintenance teams to put this right as quickly as possible.
"In the meantime, we've set up diffusers around our store and are providing extra ventilation."
