A pub which was vacated last month is set for a new lease of life under new ownership.
The Punch Bowl Pub in Colnbrook was sold by the previous owners in February after 23 years in the village.
Jenny and Nick were well known in the community and specialised in Thai Food, which they have said they will continue to sell at Staines Market every Friday and Saturday.
They vacated the Punch Bowl after the last opening date on March 11.
On Monday, April 22, a "smooth handover" took place at the Punch Bowl, with Muhammad Adeel named as the new owner.
To commemorate to occasion, Aidan who ran the pub two generations back, and recent owners Jenny and Nick met up to exchange the ownership.
Adeel plans to continue serving the Thai recipes at the restaurant, which has been relaunched as 'Bong Thai', alongside a Shisha lounge in the pub.
Adeel said: "As much as it’s an opportunity for us, I believe that it’s a huge responsibility to keep the same level of services which our existing customers expect and take it to the next level.
"The pub and hospitality industry is challenging due to rising costs. I am glad to retain all the staff and I am also recruiting more to offer standards of customer care which our community and visitors alike deserve."
He added that the food served at the pub will be "authentic and healthy".
