A brand-new café is set to open in one of Slough’s most historic landmarks.
After opening a host of new locations across Berkshire in 2023, including two new coffee shops in Ascot and Reading, Honesty Group is going above and beyond with the next group expansion in 2024.
The new Honesty café will be located within the grounds of the former Horlicks Factory on Stoke Poges Lane and feature everything that the Honesty brand stands for.
The group announced on their Facebook the future opening of their Slough branch.
They said: “We are inching closer to our new café opening at Horlicks Quarter in Slough. We wanted to dive into the history of this gorgeous landmark as we move closer to our opening date.”
The Honesty Group is a food business started by Romilla Arber, focusing on creating food with an emphasis on where it comes from, what is in it and how it is produced.
The iconic landmark has recently been restored by developer Berkeley Homes and features many of the preserved original features including te iconic red lettering, the chimney, the clock tower and a listed war memorial.
The group has announced that the interior of the café and coffee shop will align with the Horlicks Quarter theme including a nod to the classic Brooklyn bistros of the 1930’s
