As many of us prepare to visit family this Easter bank holiday weekend, the Met Office has revealed what the weather will look like over the next few days.
Following on from a turbulent week of showers and sunny spells, the pattern is set to continue into the weekend.
On Good Friday the Met Office has warned of "unsettled and breezy" weather with spells of showers, set to be heavy at times.
Temperatures are set to be average for this time of year, with a maximum of 14°C, but feeling cooler due to the breeze. Meanwhile, temperatures are predicted to fall to 5°C overnight.
The weekend is set to become drier with sunny spells, while occasional showers remain likely.
On Saturday temperatures will reach highs of 13°C and lows of 5°C, rising slightly to highs of 14°C and lows of 7°C on Easter.
The chance of rain on Easter is currently low with a 10 per cent chance of precipitation.
Monday sees the chance of showers rise to 50 per cent as temperatures remain mostly the same with highs of 13°C and lows of 6°C.
The Met Office said: "Next week begins with some uncertainty, but it looks likely that we will see a return towards more widely unsettled conditions as another area of low pressure pushes across the UK with changeable weather likely largely dominating throughout this period.
"Most areas look likely to see further showers and some longer spells of rain at times, although interspersed with some drier spells in between."
