The easiest primary schools to get into across Slough, Windsor and Maidenhead have been named based on the number of parents who applied for a place for their child.
Government figures have been released showing the number of applications submitted for school places in the borough in September 2023 and how many the schools took in.
In Slough, the easiest primary school to get into is Grove Academy, which filled only 67 per cent of its school places with first-choice applications.
Of the 42 student places the school has, 28 were given to children who had put Grove Academy as their first choice, while two spaces were given to second-choice candidates and three to third-choice.
Meanwhile, James Elliman Academy gave places to 19 children who hadn't made it their first choice.
With just 58 parents making the school their first choice for their child, 77 offers were given out, including eight second-choice offers.
All of the children who put James Elliman Academy as their first choice got into the school, taking up just 75 per cent of the school places.
Another school that gave out spaces to pupils who didn't place it as their first choice was Langley Hall Primary Academy.
The school was only put as a first choice by 64 children's parents, with 79 offers being made, including 11 second-choice and one third-choice.
This means with 81 per cent of the school places taken by families who had put the school as their first choice, there was room for more children.
In the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead, Riverside Primary School and Nursery, Bisham Church of England Academy and Holyport CofE Primary School all gave out upwards of 30 per cent of their school places to those who didn't place them as first-choice.
