Over a dozen flood alerts have been put in place across Berkshire following heavy rain.
Following rainfall this week, the Environment Agency has issued flood alerts along the River Thames, River Kennet and River Pang.
While properties are said to not be at risk, people are encouraged to avoid any low-lying land.
The Environment Agency said: "River levels are slowly falling on the River Thames following recent rainfall.
"Flooding of low-lying land and roads is expected to continue today.
"Light showers are forecast for today, with the potential for heavier showers in some locations.
"We expect river levels to continue to fall slowly, but remain responsive to further rainfall."
However, upstream in west Berkshire river levels are set to remain high with the Environment Agency stating they could possibly rise slightly early next week in response to rainfall.
"Our staff are operating weirs to reduce flood risk," they added.
Meanwhile, the Colne Brook at Iver and Colnbrook is to see river levels "expected to rise quickly" today.
"We are monitoring rainfall and river levels and are checking rivers for blockages in the area," the Environment Agency said.
"Avoid using low-lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses and do not attempt to walk or drive through flood water."
