A highly anticipated restaurant is getting ready to open in Taplow, with plans having now gone in for its signage.
Nando's was confirmed to be coming to Taplow's Bishops Centre in January, where it will move into the former Frankie & Benny's unit.
A spokesperson from the fast food giant said: "We’re excited to be bringing the heat to Maidenhead with our new restaurant in Taplow, set to open in 2024.
"Our team is busy getting our brand-new restaurant ready to welcome our new customers and serve our iconic PERi-PERi flavour."
Now plans for a new shopfront, signage and outside seating area have been submitted to Buckinghamshire Council.
The plans state Nando's request for external works, including a mechanical plant, "modest" alterations to the exterior of the restaurant and external seating area to the front of the unit, as well as new and replacement signage to be installed.
This includes plans for an access hatch, which will facilitate takeaway collections away from the customer areas.
To the front, 12 planters are proposed to enclose the seating area, which Nando's hopes to replace with new furniture.
Nando's hopes to deliver a "high quality, vibrant restaurant unit" with signage incorporating their signature red colour and large vinyl heart.
It comes just weeks after McDonald's moved into their new unit two doors down.
