Changes for flats plan approved (Slough app P/03079/022)
The developer Slough Property 2 has won approval to make changes to its plan to add 46 apartments to the former BHS building in the High Street.
The development would involve adding a fourth storey to the High Street frontage and rear extensions to create space for 28 one-bed, two two-bed and four three-bed flats.
The project also involves the conversion of the existing first and second floors into apartments as well.
While Slough Property 2 won approval for the development in July last year, it applied to make changes to the layout and alter window locations.
These changes were approved at the borough council’s planning meeting on January 31.

Changes to 79 homes plan for former RAF barracks approved (RBWM app 23/01111/VAR)
Changes have been made to an outline plan to build 79 homes at a former RAF barracks and business park in White Waltham.

But since 2021 there has been a project to knock down the commercial buildings and turn the site into housing instead.
Now, developer Shanly Homes has won approval to change access arrangements, visitor parking and open space provision for its project to build 79 homes at Grove Park.
