A local man who has scooped £95k in a TV competition has celebrated his win at a Berkshire pub.
The George Eton hosted Harry Clark, 23, on Saturday, January 27, the night after the final episode of BBC One's The Traitors aired.
The nail-biting final saw Harry play a deceitful game, beating the other final four to get the cash prize.
EXCLUSIVE: 'I did what needed to be done to win': Slough man WINS BBC One's The Traitors
In an exclusive interview with this newspaper, Harry shared how the filming for the show took place in September 2023 and that when he got home he had to "carry on lying for four months about being on the show and let alone winning it".
He said that Friday night was "a massive relief" and joked "I don't need to lie so I can chill out."
The British Army engineer from Slough celebrated his success with close family and friends in a privately rented section of The George Eton, known as The Hop House.
Kevin Fernandes, marketing manager for the Windsor and Eton Brewery Group said: "The staff were surprised and shocked that Harry was at the pub.
"He is a very nice guy. I wasn't expecting him to be that down to earth. He didn't look like a celebrity. He was a normal guy."
Videos from the night, shared by Harry on social media show him dancing as family and friends chanted his name.
Kevin added: "He had a great night that day.
"It was a last moment booking. He is not a regular but he is a local boy.
"He did come to us before and said he could not have booked a better place than The George because it is one of the best pubs around."
Kevin admitted that he hadn't seen The Traitors, but upon meeting Harry, had gone home and binge watched the show on Sunday.
"It is quite interesting. I am definitely going to watch the series next time," he added.
