A man is due to appear in court tomorrow after Coral betting shop in Slough was robbed on Friday lunchtime.
Police are investigating the robbery of Coral in Chalvey Road West.
Officers were called at 12.25pm on Friday, January 19 when a man threatened a staff member with a knife and demanded money.
Naheen Bashir, aged 32, of Martin Road, Slough, was charged the following day, with one count of attempted robbery, one count of possession of a knife blade/sharp pointed object in a public place and two counts of using threatening/abusive/insulting words or behaviour to cause alarm or distress.
Bashir is due to appear at Reading Magistrates’ Court on Monday, January 22.
