A police presence on Buckingham Avenue has been confirmed to be a response to a medical incident.
At approximately 11:45am this morning (January 19) members of the public reported seeing police cars and ambulances pull up outside the parade of shops on Buckingham Avenue.
A man and woman were reportedly seen being attended to by paramedics.
Thames Valley Police confirmed that they were responding to a medical incident.
Cihan Kalay, manager of Ann's Pantry Cafe was shocked to see police arrive.
He said: "We didn't see anything and then all of a sudden we see police and an ambulance there.
"We don't normally see police here. There aren't any problems here."
