The Mayor of the Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead Councillor Neil Knowles has been out and about again at public events.
Recently Councillor Knowles visited a light parade in Maidenhead to show his support for the local community.
As previously reported, Maidenhead town centre came to life with a feather-themed display at the annual lantern parade on Saturday, December 9.
The Carnival of the Animals Lantern Parade – Take Flight! Started from outside the Town Hall at 4.30 pm with music and dancing, ahead of the parade’s departure at 5 pm.
The Mayor took to social media to share the delight of his visit, and to express his gratitude for a wonderful evening.
In a Twitter post he wrote "Fabulous Lantern parade in Maidenhead" and posted multiple pictures of him enjoying the festivities.
In the pictures, hundreds of people can be seen taking part in the parade and many carry large light-up installations.
