An indoor pop-up interactive gaming experience is coming to Slough's town centre later this month.
Salt Hill VR is set to launch a pop-up Virtual Reality experience at The Curve on December 22.
Offering hour-long sessions at midday, 1pm, 2pm and 3pm, guests will have the opportunity to engage in an immersive virtual reality (VR) experience, blending storytelling VR Art with adrenaline-fuelled gaming action.
Salt Hill VR is the brainchild of local resident Jay Younes, taking attendees beyond the boundaries of regular gaming.
General Manager of the team Mr Abdi Awil said: "We are thrilled to bring a unique, one-day event to The Curve Venue in Slough with the Salt Hill VR Pop-Up Arcade.
"This experience is more than just gaming; it's a plunge into new worlds, offering memorable adventures in virtual reality."
Among the many fascinating features of this event, the Roblox VR Coding showcase will display the art of game design and let the attendees approach the innovation behind the games.
Ketan Gandhi, Associate Director Place and Community at Slough Borough Council said: "It is fantastic to see the Venue at the Curve being brought back to life through the StoryDen partnership between Slough Borough Council and Norden Farm."
He highlighted the value of the event for the local community and encouraged residents to regularly check the venue's website for upcoming events, adding: "We want to encourage everyone to have curvevenue.uk as a website they regularly visit to see what’s on."
Tickets for the event are £10 each and are suitable for ages nine and up.
Residents of Slough are encouraged to engage with this unique, one-day opportunity to take part in a ground-breaking gaming experience.
