Bin changes are coming for those who have garden waste subscriptions in Slough.
The service will now operate on a 12 month rolling subscription starting on the date residents sign up – instead of subscriptions just starting on December 1.
Sticker for the bins will no longer be issued. Instead, residents must clearly number their bin and leave it out for collection.
SBC environment lead councillor Gurcharan Manku said: “The garden waste service is a popular scheme. By signing up at a point that suits them, residents will really be able to get the most out of the service.
“Signing up is easy online and now there is no sticker to wait for, people can get started straight away. Make sure to clearly mark your bin and check the collection dates on our website.”
The green bins are collected fortnightly, with subscriptions continuing to cost £50 until the end of March.
