An office block in Ascot could soon be home to a taxi and chauffeuring business under a proposal submitted to the local planning authority.
The applicant is seeking approval to operate out of Index House and has applied for a certificate of lawfulness to confirm it.
The building on St George’s Lane offers serviced office space for companies that includes workspace suitable from individuals to more than 750 square feet.
The applicant compared their own business to similar companies operating out of the block, adding that they would take pre-bookings via email.
The application was validated on November 8 and is set to be deliberated by officers of the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead.
