FROM fraudsters to thieves and stalkers to abusers, here are some of the Berkshire criminals who have been jailed in October:

A fraudster who took over 36 driving theory tests on behalf of other people as part of an ‘organised crime’ ring has been jailed.

Satwinder Singh pocketed up to £1,500 each time he took the test - which costs just £23 – at test centres across the country - including in Reading and Bucks.

The 34-year-old took so many tests over four years that the Driving and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) put out a picture of Singh at test centres in a bid to catch him.

He was finally arrested when he tried to take a test at a Pearson and Reed test centre in Reading on June 6 using a provisional driving licence under the name of Amritpal Singh.

Judge Heather Norton sentenced Singh, of Rheidol Avenue, Clase in Swansea, to 12 months imprisonment at Reading Crown Court on Thursday, October 5.

A VIOLENT stalker stormed out of his sentencing hearing, telling the judge it was ‘bulls***’ and he didn’t want to hear it.

Thomas Hull, 29, could be seen via video link from HMP Bullingdon banging on the prison door in an attempt to leave halfway through his sentencing on Monday, October 2.

He was being sentenced for one count of assault occasioning actual bodily harm and stalking involving fear of violence against his ex-partner in Wokingham.

Hull, of Ashley Road, Surrey, was jailed for 30 months.

TWO thieves have been jailed after reversing a van into a department store window and stealing more than £7,000 of stock.

Both from Slough, Martin Bodman, 46, of Parlaunt Road, and Alan Ludlow, 41, of Mean Avenue, Slough, were jailed after a sentencing hearing at Reading Crown Court on Monday (October 2).

Bodman was jailed for six years, due to further crimes of theft, and Ludlow was jailed for 21 months by Recorder John Ryder.

A MAN has been jailed for four years for helping a murderer who killed a 21-year-old in Slough.

Ahmad Hassan, 24, of Blackwell Court, Slough, was found guilty of one count of assisting an offender - in the murder of Kyron Lee,21, by unanimous verdict by transporting the murderer, Elgamri, on October 3 and between October 13 and October 18, 2022.

At Reading Crown Court on Friday (October 27), he was jailed for four years which he will serve half of in custody before being released on licence.

A MAN has been jailed after attacking his partner causing injuries to her face and stomach.

Galice Beldom, 49, of Church Street, Windsor, was jailed for eight months after a hearing at Reading Crown Court on Thursday (October 26).

He pleaded guilty to one count of Section 20 inflicting grievous bodily harm at the same court on August 25.

A PROFESSIONAL photographer has been jailed after stalking his ex-partner and wielding a knife in public with intent to take his own life.

Andrew Brown, 59, was sentenced at Reading Crown Court on Monday (October 23) to three years and eight months in jail for charges of stalking, breaching bail and possession of a bladed object.

The Theale photographer had been in a relationship with the victim for about four to five years, having an affair, when she broke it off in April this year and started seeing someone new.

Hearn proceeded to stalk the victim outside her Theale home and place of work, claiming he was ‘concerned’ about her new partner who had reportedly been released from prison after committing a ‘grave offence’.

He was later caught with a knife in High Street, High Wycombe on June 9 – reportedly wielding it with the intent of taking his own life. He was arrested soon after.

A MAN has been jailed for a burglary and two attempted burglaries in Slough.

Andrzej Bojanowski, 31, was sentenced to four and a half years in prison at Reading Crown Court on Friday (October 20) after a trial.

A jury found Bojanowski guilty of one count of burglary dwelling with intent to steal and two counts of attempted burglary dwelling with intent to steal after a five day trial.

A 22-year-old man has been charged with drug offences in Reading.

Leandro Silva, of London Road, Bromley, London, pleaded guilty to two counts of possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of class A, namely cocaine and heroin, and one count of possession of criminal property.

Silva was sentenced to two years and six months’ imprisonment at Reading Crown Court on Friday, October 13.

TWO men have been jailed after breaking into a primary school in Slough.

Ricky Bowden, 52, and Mark Robson, 36, broke into Darul Madinah School in Chalvey on June 27 and July 2 this year.

Bowden and Robson, both of no fixed abode, were sentenced to 14 months imprisonment each after they both pleaded guilty to two counts each of burglary other than in a dwelling.
