A MAN has been jailed after attacking his partner causing injuries to her face and stomach.
Galice Beldom, 49, of Church Street, Windsor, was jailed for eight months after a hearing at Reading Crown Court on Thursday (October 26).
He pleaded guilty to one count of Section 20 inflicting grievous bodily harm at the same court on August 25.

At about 2.30am on March 31 this year, Beldom attacked his then partner, a woman in her forties, at his home address, causing serious injuries to her face and stomach.
She managed to escape the property and fled on foot. Eventually, she managed to flag down a milkman in the town centre for help.
Beldom was arrested the same day and charged the following day.
Investigating officer Detective Constable Annie Blair, of the Domestic Abuse Investigation Unit, based at Windsor police station, said: “I would like to thank the victim for her bravery and support for this investigation.

“I hope this result shows victims and perpetrators of domestic violence that the police will take all reports of violence against women and girls seriously, and will do all we can to bring offenders like Galice Beldom before the courts to face justice.”
