Two local men have been charged with a weapons offence after a series of warrants in the area.

Damon Denham, aged 36, of Kingsbury Drive, Old Windsor and 42-year-old Daniel Boyd of Talbot Place, Datchet, have been charged with conspiracy to sell/transfer a pistol - a prohibited weapon. 

Chad Blackwell, aged 34, of Hensworth Road, Ashford, Middlesex, has also been charged with the crime.

It follows an investigation by the South East Regional Organised Crime Unit, with support from Thames Valley Police and Sussex Police.

The charges are in connection with an investigation into the supply of firearms.

Officers conducted a warrant at a premises in Ash Lane, Windsor on Wednesday, October 11 and a further warrant at a premises in Talbot Place, Datchet. 

The three men were remanded in custody and were due to appear at Reading Magistrates’ Court on October 13.
