A hit Netflix drama is set to film in Maidenhead this month, with a further location added.
Heartstopper is a coming-of-age romance following two school boys as they realise their friendship may be something more.
Netflix released the second season of the show in August, with a third on its way with an expected release of late 2024.
On Monday, October 2, Netflix confirmed that the third season had begun production.
Just one day later the cast was seen filming on Dorset Beach.
The Netflix show has previously used Slough, Windsor, Maidenhead and areas of Buckinghamshire in the show.
Notable locations used include the now-empty E-ACT Burnham Park Academy, Windsor and Eton Riverside and an address on St Marks Road in Windsor.
Norfolk Park Stores in Maidenhead also features twice in the show.
Last month the Observer revealed that production company See Saw Films had put in a notice of road closure to the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead.
Now a second location in the Maidenhead riverside area is to be added to the production portfolio of filming locations.
Set to film in mid-October, affected residents will be contacted and notified of any closures to their street.
The Heartstopper cast will also be returning to filming in Windsor in November.
Council leader Simon Werner, from the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead, welcomed the news of more filming. He said: “I’m delighted to see Netflix return to the Royal Borough to film Heartstopper.
"This is a high-profile production and, as a council, we’ve worked hard to develop and promote a film-friendly environment.
"This helps support our local economy, promotes the area as a destination and, in turn, attracts visitors to our borough.
"We’re liaising with Netflix on this production and since January we’ve supported 43 productions to film in our borough.”
Filming is also known to be happening in Buckinghamshire's Burnham and Amersham, but it is unknown if the shoots are related to the hit Netflix show.
