A TEENAGER accused of murder is due to appear in Reading Crown Court on Friday (October 5). 

The 17-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has been charged with murder and possession of a bladed article after the death of a 19-year-old in Slough. 

Police officers rushed to Hampden Road at about 11.20am on Saturday, September 30 after reports a young man had been stabbed.

An ambulance also attended the scene and gave the man treatment but he died at the scene.

Named locally by the family as Temur Qureshi, messages and tributes have been at the scene alongside flowers on the corner.

The 17-year-old was charged on Wednesday (October 4) and appeared at Reading Magistrates Court on Thursday (October 5).
