A popular local bank is to be shuttered this week after a spate of closures.
Lloyds, situated on Buckingham Avenue, will close by the end of the week.
It will mean that the closest Lloyds bank for residents will be situated on Slough High Street.
A spokesperson for Lloyds bank said: "The world is becoming more digital than ever before and more of our customers are doing their everyday banking online.
"With more customers choosing to use digital ways to bank and manage their money, visits at this branch have fallen.
"We also have another branch nearby. As a result, we've made the difficult decision to close it."
According to Lloyds, the bank on Buckingham Avenue is visited by 132 regular customers, the majority of which are above the age of 35 - 33 per cent of which are over 55.
Lloyds on Buckingham Avenue, Slough, will close on Thursday, October 5.
