Hundreds of Hindus descended to Slough’s Upton Park Court for an annual celebration.
Participants and spectators took part in the Rathayatra (chariot festival) in Berkshire as part day of blessing, spiritual healing, and positivity.
Those in the procession danced, sang, and played instrumentals with some becoming visibly emotional as the day went on.
This is part of the yearly ceremony which originated in India as part of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness before it spread to the West in the 1960s.

“It’s an occasion for people to come together where people sing, dance and enjoy themselves.
“People will get flowers and fruits which are good as they are positive.
“It’s been wonderful to see so many people in the pouring rain.”
