A fire has forced a restaurant to close its doors.
The Palace in Colnbrook is set to be closed for the foreseeable future after a fire took hold in the kitchen in the early hours of Monday morning (August 21).
Crews from the Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service rushed to the restaurant on London Road, Slough at 6:04am after reports of a building on fire.
A spokesperson from Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "Upon arrival, crews discovered a fire in a ground floor kitchen.
"Firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus used two hose reel jets and a safety jet to extinguish the fire.
"Crews also rescued four people from the first floor of the property using a ladder before placing them in the care of South Central Ambulance Service.
"After the fire was out, firefighters used a fan to ventilate smoke from the property.
"Crews were on the scene for approximately two hours and 30 minutes."
Now a spokesperson from The Palace said: "We're closed, we don't know when we'll be back open.
"Everything is damaged and destroyed inside."
Nobody was hurt in the fire.
