A MAN has died after suspected asbestos exposure, an inquest has heard.
Gordon Gibbons died at home in Crown Meadow with his wife by his side at the age of 86.
An inquest was opened on Tuesday (August 15) at Berkshire Coroners Court to help establish the cause of his death.

Coroner Alison McCormick said: “His cause of death has been given as metastatic mesothelioma.
“On the basis that it’s associated with asbestos exposure, it’s going to be necessary to have an inquest into his death.”
A full inquest will take place at the same court on August 18 at 1pm.
