A Methodist church building in Eton Wick could soon find new life as an office block if a change of use application is approved.
The Alma Road site would see the former church rooms used as office space, and would include a kitchen and staff room.
Elsewhere, a dining hall used by Eton College is set to get 180 solar panels on its roof.

An Eton Wick Methodist Church could soon be converted into office space under plans submitted to the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead.
The designs sent to the local planning authority would see the former place of worship transformed into an office building complete with a kitchen and staff room.
Located on Alma Road, the property in currently vacant according to the application form, with its former use having ended in January 2022.

Plans have been approved for a Slough house to convert its garage into a room and build a single-story extension to its front.
The application was approved with conditions that the work must begin within three years and that construction materials match the appearance of the existing building.
It will also be required to carry out the work according to the plans that have been approved by the Local Planning Authority.

A dining hall used by Eton College is set to get new solar panels after plans were given the green light.
Permission has been granted for Bekynton House on Eton Wick Road to get 180 solar photovoltaic panels on its flat roof.
The planning report noted the building “modernist pavilion-like piece of architecture” and deemed the plans to have an “acceptable impact” on the character of the site and area.
The building falls within the Eton Conservation Area and is designated as a ‘Significant Non-Listed Building’ in the Eton Conservation Area Appraisal.
