A MAN from Slough has been jailed for 16 weeks after beating a five-year-old with a shoe.
The incident happened in Haven Road, Exeter, on August 31 last year at a children’s park.
At East Berkshire Magistrates Court on July 12, the man pleaded guilty to one count of assault by beating of the child who is non-verbal and has special needs.

On August 7 at the same court, the man was jailed for 16 weeks.
He was also ordered to pay a £154 victim surcharge and court costs of £85.
The total balance he was ordered to pay if £239 to be paid by January next year.
