A hit Netflix drama has released its second season with a host of familiar locations.
Eagle-eyed viewers may have spotted a Maidenhead corner shop featured in the first episode of season two of Heartstopper.
Norfolk Park Stores is an off-license on Vicarage Road, whose exterior and branding were used in the show as well as the interior where characters Charlie (Joe Locke), Elle (Yasmin Finney), Tao (William Gao) and Isaac (Tobie Donovan) can be seen buying a drink.
Manager Sam Singh, 31, said that Netflix contacted the store in 2021 with a request to use it for a mystery show.
Despite poor weather seeing the initial date postponed, filming finally took place in winter 2022.
Sam said: "They liked this location - figured out a date and managed to film it.
"It took them about nine hours to do it - a long day.
"We had a crew come in at about 6am, reshuffled everything - fridges, wardrobes, chocolates, everything.
"Outside they made a few changes, adding some fresh fruit and veg to make it look nicer.
"At about 12pm, 12:30pm the rest of the staff came in and that's when it started happening."
On the day of filming Sam added that it was "cold and windy" but residents were "extremely happy" to see the location being used by film crews.
"The crew was good, they were very understanding - nice people," Sam continued.
"The crew did everything in the morning and came back after the shooting to put it all back together."
"It was lovely, we had loads of people asking about it."
Heartstopper is a British coming-of-age romance that follows two school boys as they realise their friendship maybe something more.
Navigating young love and tackling social issues, season two sees Nick and Charlie's relationship blossom as they head off to Paris on a school trip.

Since the filming, Sam has noticed fans slowly trickling in.
"I've had a few fans come and ask about it," he added.
"It's nice. It's nice people know about it. The show is popular."
Norfolk Park Stores is keen to welcome the production back.
"I'd love to see them again," Sam continued.
"It was fun. It isn't every day you get people coming in and shooting in your shop. It would be nice."
Sam's family couldn't believe the shop was being used for filming, reportedly saying: "Wow, how did that happen?"
Heartstopper has been filmed in a host of locations across Maidenhead, Windsor, Slough and Buckinghamshire - with notable locations being Hollywood Bowl in High Wycombe, Burnham Park Academy and the main character's address at St Marks Road in Windsor.
Heartstopper Season two was released on August 3 and can be watched on the streaming site Netflix.
