THREE men are due to stand trial this week for assisting three others in the murder of a 21-year-old man in Slough.

Kyron Lee was knocked from his bike in Earls Lane by a stolen black Golf on October 2 last year at about 8.50pm.

He was then chased into Waterman Close and stabbed with ‘machete-like’ weapons. He sadly died from ‘multiple stab wounds’.

Inside the vehicle were five men – three of which stood trial at Reading Crown Court, starting on June 1, charged with murder: Khalid Nur, 20, Fras Seedahmed, 18, of Slough and Mohammed Elgamri, 18, of Windsor.

The jury have only found two of those defendants, Nur and Elgamri, guilty of murder.

Prior to the trial starting, Yaqhub Mussa, 21, was also charged with murder. However, he pleaded guilty before the trial and will now be sentenced with Nur and Elgamri.

A provisional sentencing date of September 1 has been pencilled in.

A fourth man, Yakoub Tarafi, 18, was also on trial charged with two counts of assisting an offender post-murder.

The jury found him not guilty of both counts on Wednesday (July 26).  He was seen wiping away tears as he was discharged from the court.

Now, three other men are due to stand trial on Thursday, August 10 charged with assisting an offender.

Ismail Mussa, 24, of Daylesford Grove, Slough is charged with assisting Mussa (Yaqhub) between October 2 and October 8 last year by transporting him.

Ahmad Hassan, 23, who has no address listed, is charged with assisting Elgamri by transporting him on October 3 and between October 13 and October 18, 2022.

Fuad Nur, 27, of Graylands Close, Slough is charged with assisting Nur (Khalid) between October 2 and October 5 by booking him flights to ‘flee the country’.

A fourth man, Mohamed Abduelle, of Kenbury Drive, Slough, was also due to the stand trial with the other three charged with conspiracy to cause grievous bodily harm.

However, the 20-year-old pleaded guilty on Monday (August 7) and is now also due to be sentenced on September 1.

The trial of Mussa, Hassan, and Nur is due to last about four weeks with the jury being sworn in on Wednesday (August 9) and the opening speech to start the following day.

A final defendant, Elias Almallah, 21, of Eltham Avenue, Slough, is also due to stand trial in connection with the murder of Mr Lee, with police believing he had a hand in planning the incident.

However, he was only charged earlier this month after it was believed he fled the country.
