Two dealers have pleaded guilty to drugs offences after being caught running a County Lines enterprise between Bournemouth and Swindon.

Omar Tablieh of Tregonwell Road, Bournemouth, and David Mbugua of King Edward Street, Slough, admitted being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine and heroin.

Both 20-year-old Tablieh and 22-year-old Mbugua regularly made trips to Swindon to sell Class A drugs.

Swindon officers travelled to Bournemouth on Wednesday, May 31, where they found the duo in a hotel room.

They were in possession of crack cocaine and heroin as well as cash and burner-style phones.

Both men were subsequently arrested, charged and remanded in custody with Tablieh also charged with possession of an offensive weapon in a private place.

The pair pleaded guilty on Friday, June 30 and Friday, July 14 respectively and are due to be sentenced on Monday, August 21.

PC Dan Chaventre, part of the Force’s new burglary unit, said: “Creating Safer Public Spaces is a force priority and clamping down on county lines in Swindon and across the county is an integral part of that.

“A proactive and targeted investigation into Class A drugs lines in Swindon led to the arrests of these two drug dealers and I’m pleased that they have now pleaded guilty.

“Drugs cause untold harm in our communities and prey on the most vulnerable members of society.

“Wiltshire Police will always proactively look to tackle those who exploit the vulnerable within our communities and run county lines into Wiltshire.”
