ONE of the men on trial accused of murdering a 21-year-old received a text a day before referring to a man as a ‘scout’.
Khalid Nur, 20, Fras Seedahmed, 18, of Slough, and Mohammed Elgamri, 18, of Windsor, are currently on trial at Reading Crown Court for the murder of Kyron Lee on October 2 last year.
Mr Lee was knocked from his bike in Earls Lane by a Golf before being ‘chased’ into Waterman Court and stabbed.

The three men have denied the charge.
On Tuesday (June 27), the prosecution, barrister Christopher Hewertson, read out texts sent from Nur’s phone to an individual not involved in the proceedings.
In one text to Nur, a man refers to a man not involved in the proceedings as a ‘scout’. In another text, Nur states they need to be ‘taught a lesson’ but states that Ring Doorbell camera are an issue.
Sent separately, the texts from Nur read: “I saw [unnamed individual] today lol. Walking electric bike through the middle. Would’ve taken it, I’ll confiscate it next time. [sic]”
The response to Nur read: “You never know, he could be a snout.”
Nur responded: “No cap. Lessons need to be taught. Seems simple to grab him but it’s not. Too close to my house.

“And you know Ring doorbells are a problem. [sic]”
In another text received by Nur, the man refers to another man as a ‘patty’ which is slang term for an insult. He also adds that he is a ‘snitch and a nerd’.
It read: “[They are] such a patty. It’s unbelievable. I don’t even want to hear man’s name, they are terrified.
“Man it’s embarrassing. They’re miskeen kids. They are snitches and nerds. [sic]”
The texts were exchanged before the incident last year. Multiple stab wounds were inflicted on Mr Lee who later died from his injuries.
The three men claim they were not there during the incident and the CCTV has wrongly identified them.
Yaqhub Mussa, 21, of Slough, has already pleaded to one charge of murder. The prosecution also say another man, Elias Almallah, was involved but it is believed he has fled jurisdiction.

Yakoub Tarafi, 18, is also on trial charged with assisting an offender post murder and Mohamed Abduelle, who the prosecution believe had a hand in planning the attack, has been charged but will stand trial separately.
The trial continues.
