A SECTION 60 order has been authorised in Datchet following disorder in the town.
The order will include Horton Road, Bath Road, Colnbrook bypass, London Road, Upton Court Road, and the B376.
Officers have attended reports of disorder in the Datchet area on Saturday (June 24). On attendance, a number of weapons were recovered, including baseball bats and bladed items. No arrests have yet been made.

Inspector Rupinder Gill, based at Slough police station, said: “We’ve put this section 60 order in place for a period of 24 hours. It will give our officers extra stop and search powers and is designed to prevent further incidents or outbreaks of violence.
“As such, there will be an increased police presence in the area. If you have any concerns or questions, feel free to approach our officers.
“We’d also like to appeal to anyone who has seen any disorder in the area today to call us on 101, quoting reference number 20230624-1131.”
