A MAN has pleaded guilty to a murder in Slough ahead of his trial date this week.

Yahqub Mussa, 22, was due to stand trial this week for the murder of Kyron Lee, 21, who was stabbed after being attacked following a collision on his bike in Earls Lane last year.

The incident happened on October 2, 2022 at 8.50pm. After the collision, multiple men exited the car and chased Kyron into Waterman Court, Cippenham where he was fatally attacked. The offenders then left the scene in the car.

Mussa, of Daylesford Grove, Slough, was due to stand trial this week at Reading Crown alongside Fras Seedahmed, 18, Khalid Nur, 20, Yakoub Tarafi, 18, all of Slough, and Mohammed Elgamri, 18, of Windsor.

Nur, Elgamri, Seedahmed have been charged with murder while Tarafi has been charged with assisting an offender.

Instead, Mussa pleaded guilty to murder yesterday (May 30).

Mussa will be sentenced on a date yet to be determined, likely following the trial which is expected to last eight to nine weeks.

The trial was due to start today (May 31) but has been delayed until tomorrow morning (June 1). A jury has been sworn in and has confirmed they are able to sit for the length of the trial.
